Paper puppet

Leslie likes to enact puppet shows using both homemade and store bought puppets.

Tour Guides

The kids made tour guide hats for when visitors come.

Another lost tooth!

The tooth fairy brought Leslie a pendant, or as she calls it, an "Independent."

After Church

Bedtime story reader

Leslie's reading is becoming almost fast enough for Sabrina's attention span.

Duck Fanciers

The ducks have grown amazingly fast. We're going to have to say goodbye soon.

Rocket Pilot

We went to an amusement park just for children. The kids had a blast on the rocket ride.

Circles

In one of those "what was I thinking?" moments, I chose to ride a spinning teacups ride with the kids, and found I don't quite have the craving for naseua I used to.

Bumper Boats

Sabrina liked the "bumper" part quite a lot, but couldn't quite steer as skillfully as Leslie, who managed to get away quickly.

Swim Season Starts Soon!

Leslie made it across the Olympic sized swimming pool without any help!

Sedona

We went with Richard and Suzanne for a great weekend in Sedona, a beautiful area about 2.5 hours away from our home.

Spain-ish

Sedona has beautiful art galleries and European hotels. The style of the buildings, the cobbled streets, and the varieties of plants all reminded us of the country towns in Spain.

Hiking in Sedona

This is what I refer to as Sabrina's "Muppet face."

"Snowballs"

Cool Runnings

Cold can be a sensation we treasure here in AZ. When we got to the river, the kids took off their shoes and jumped right in. (Then jumped right back out again, shrieking. Then in again.)

Sculpture, meet Leslie

Arizona "Snow"

The prolific seed fluff looks and feels like snow when it falls from the trees.

Spinning sculptures

Fairy tale sculptures

This garden had several fairy-tale looking sculptures.

A Rock-ing chair

The Sedona sculpture store had chairs made out of stone. Leslie and Sabrina enjoyed rocking in the rock chair.
